Penang road trip 29.8.10-31.08.10

Penang we are coming...this is the trip that was in the planning since 2009. At last the day has come and the 8 of us (Jerry, Wai Foong, Chun Kit, Yun Jin, Wai Nee, Pei Shan, Nicholas Sum and yours truly) departed to Penang on the early morning of 30/8/10. But first we will be stopping by at Gua Tempurung in Perak for a "Grand Tour" which took us 4 hours to complete. Why? Because this is the "grand-est" tour and we will be exploring the cave from the entrance to the exit at the other end. And the route back consists of crawling (commando style), sliding down slopes and climbing up inclines all in the cave. This is really physically challenging and we were damn tired after completing it and manage to come out in one piece. Too bad my camera is not waterproof...After the tour we head on to Ipoh for our lunch..The menu is Ipoh's famous ayam tauge...there is also "tau fu fa" nearby which is famous but too bad we can't taste it as it is sold out (at 4pm)...shit...so good business meh?

After our lunch we continue our journey to Penang. As for dinner, Wai Foong led the way to a restoaurant for seafood. As i was aslepp the whole journey to Penang, the restaurant is at Seberang Prai...not in Peang exactly.

After dinner we head on to Penang. Check into hotel and how my day ends? Bath and sleep at 10.30pm...Really is very very tired....

DAY 2
Rise and shine, it's day 2 in Penang. First of all we head on for breakfast and the proceed to visit Kek Lok Si temple. After that we head on to Queensbay Mall for some shopping and for dinner we went on to Gurney drive to taste out all the hawker food such as "Hor Chien", "Chee Cheong Fun" which is different from what we find in Seremban or KL. The sauce is actually paste shrimp and not the usual sweet sauce. And here it is eaten plain without any additional dishes like meatball, sausages etc.  There are also Kuey Teow goreng, grill cockles, grill fish....all the very tasty....have a look at the photos below...bet your saliva is drooling...hehe...And since it's Merdeka Eve, we head on to Hard Rock cafe Penang for some chilling night out..

FINAL DAY
Rise and shine..it's the final day in Penang. Went for breakfast...Try out Penang laksa...Penag version of "Bak Chang"..it's huge...and Nasi Kandar for lunch....On the way back to Seremban we stop by again in Ipoh for "Nag Choi Kai" and tried out another stall's Tau Fu Fa...haha..it seems we won't be satisfied if did not try it..hahaha....And that is basically how our road trip concludes....can't wait for another road trip....

Sepang Gold Coast

Went to Sepang Gold Coast on 21/8/2010 to watch sunset and do some photo shooting. The place is nice and the weather is just fine when we arrived. As this place is quiet far there were not may people and this has give us more space to shoot around. Going to this place we will pass by Sepang F1 circuit and of course KLIA. Those looking to sunset and some photo shooting can consider this place as the beach is cleaner and the surrounding is more better than PD i guess?haha...some photos to share below...still noob in photography...so hope you guys can bear with me...hehe
